UPAE Oath-Taking

A new set of UP Alumni Engineers (UPAE) Board of Trustees was sworn to office by UP President Emerlinda R. Roman on July 28, 2008 at the Executive House in the Diliman Campus. The ceremonial Oath of Taking marks the commencement of the newly elected board to lead one of the largest and most active alumni associations in the University.

The INGENIUM

Now formally out as the University of the Philippines Alumni Engineers’ Digest, INGENIUM is one level up for the UPAE Yearbook.

INGENIUM is envisioned to develop into a coffee table book of premium design, prestigious in nature. We start with a modest maiden issue. In time, it will be a treasure of UPAE chronicles, of literary works, moving editorials, outstanding thesis papers, technological innovations, as well as memorabilia of and by the UP Engineering Alumni Community. It pays homage to the alumni who have contributed to the development of our country and globally in the field of Engineering. It writes just about everything a UP Engineer holds dear. Read on

CD copy is already available. A hardcopy which includes the UP Alumni Engineers Homecoming 2008 pictures is coming soon!

The New UPAE Office

The inauguration of the new UPAE Office was held last November 5, 2007, four days before the Grand Alumni Homecoming. It was a simple gathering attended by some alumni and faculty members of the College. The new focal point of alumni engineers and friends is now located at the ground floor of the National Engineering Center Building.

Dean Rowena Guevara and UPAE Vice President Benito Pacheco led the event. The tambiolo for the Homecoming 2007 raffle draw was also presented.
